For many, a fully immersive Sidmouth festival experience starts with the buzz of the festival campsite. Our Official Festival Campsite offers great atmosphere, views across the valley, and a handy location near the Bulverton,
The campsite is open from noon on Wednesday, 29th July, to noon on Saturday, 8th August. Our campsite is located at EX10 9DW, 1.5 miles from the seafront on Bulverton Road (B3176).
Pitch your tent or caravan/motor home amongst the warm community of fellow festival goers for a friendly festival accommodation option.
The Festival Campsite facilities include trailer toilets, as well as portaloos, showers and washing up sinks, plus a convenient Hub area with box office, festival catering, a campsite office and a useful general meeting area.
We have a designated quieter family camping area and an Accessiblity Area - a small number of pitches in the Accessibilty Area are available with Electrical Hook-up (EHU)
Space is especially limited for Live-In Vehicles - book your Live-In Vehicle add-ons with your camping tickets. A very limited number of Live-in Vehicle add-ons are available with Electrical Hook-up (EHU)
There are two prices:
- ticket holder (for All-in-One Season, Week Season, Weekend, Day Season and other Tickets holders)
- Non-ticket holder for those just coming to experience the fringe events.

Personal Assistant Ticket
This is available to a ticket buying person requiring assistance to attend the festival.
Tickets can be booked online and in order to qualify you will need to provide the box office/door staff at the festival with one of the following when collecting your season tickets or using your e-tickets:
- Front page of DLA / PIP award letter (no specific rate)
- Front page of Scottish Adult Disability Payment (no specific rate)
- Front page of Attendance Allowance letter (no specific rate)
- Evidence that registered severely sight impaired (blind)
- Recognised Assistance Dog ID card
- Access Card (with the ‘+1’ symbol)
The qualifying documentation must be an original and current as of the dates of the festival.
All Personal Assistants should be aged 18+ years. Personal Assistant tickets are not available against Child tickets as they would already need to be in direct supervision and guidance by a parent or other adult guardian.
If special requirements exist, such as positioning of a wheelchair, it is the ticket holder’s responsibility to contact the venue management early to make sure that their requirements are known. Venue stewards will do their best to accommodate all such requests.
